There are many stories behind Dawn of the Maya, many bands, concerts and experience in years over the scene. Behind each one there is a name, a band related with metal and hxc (Ubi Sunt?, Insomnia, Dkuajo) but now, united under the same name present this new band, kept like a secret in the Noain´s locals since november 2006. Faster than the jaguar of the chiapanec jungle, harder than the stone of the milenary pyramids, agressive like rituals in the name of Maya´s god Kukulkán, Dawn of the Maya play metalcore loaded by emotion and fury. They pick up sunshine´s baton of this mysterious culture, almost 5000 years after the beggining. "The feathered snake will come back to earth to make justice between the human race". The prophecy still alive...
