This is the second full length cd (and first for Chainsaw Safety). This Canadian quintet plays gnarled and discordant hardcore, sounding as dark and brooding as ever. Lyrically, it’s a dredging bleak landscape for remnants of hope. Musically it’s metallic hardcore that is not unlike earlier projects such as THE BLACK HAND. These eight new tracks continue their sinisterly dark sounding assault of heavy drudging hardcore.
